PROGRAMS OVERVIEW

The Aro-Okeigbo Great Minds Foundation has undertaken several impactful programs and initiatives aimed at promoting education, humanitarian service, cultural preservation, and community development. Most of the programs are coordinated by the Foundation's various standing committees.

FEED 1 FROM THE FOUNDATION SKILL ACQUISITION COMMITTEE

Justice Okechukwu Okafor is one of the beneficiaries of the Skill Acquisition Programme of the Aro-Okeigbo Great Minds Foundation. He is currently undergoing intensive training in Automobile Electrical Works at Victor E Automobile Workshop, located at No. 6 Ibeneme Street, Off Osusu Road, Aba, Abia State.

The training programme commenced on 16th April 2026 like others and is expected to run for a duration of two (2) years. He is being supervised and monitored by the Skills Acquisition Committee of the foundation to ensure effective learning, discipline, and measurable progress throughout the programme.

From the attached training photographs, Justice has continued to demonstrate impressive dedication, commitment, and enthusiasm in learning modern automobile electrical systems and vehicle maintenance techniques. His active participation in practical workshop activities is a clear indication of his determination to build a successful career in the automobile industry.

Upon completion of this programme, the knowledge and technical expertise he acquires will greatly benefit the Arochukwu Kingdom economically and socially. As a trained automobile electrician, he will contribute to the availability of skilled technical services within the community, reduce dependence on external technicians, encourage youth productivity, and create opportunities for employment and entrepreneurship.

His acquired skills will also support technological advancement and strengthen local economic development within the kingdom and beyond.

The Aro-Okeigbo Great Minds Foundation, a non-political organization, through this laudable initiative, continues to demonstrate a deep commitment to building a brighter future for young people by equipping them with practical vocational skills for self-reliance and sustainable living. This programme stands as a remarkable example of purposeful leadership, community development, and long-term investment in the future of the younger generation.

Attached are photographs showing Justice actively participating in his practical automobile electrical training sessions at the workshop.

FEED 2 FROM THE FOUNDATION SKILL ACQUISITION COMMITTEE

As part of its unwavering commitment to youth empowerment, poverty reduction, and community development, Aro-Okeigbo Great Minds Foundation has sponsored two young Umu Aro sons — Emmanuel Chigozie Obilor and Sunday Golden Nwanyanwu — in a three-year vocational skill acquisition programme in the production and installation of modern POP designs and finishing works.

The beneficiaries commenced their tutelage in June 2025 under Chinedu Decoration Co Enterprises, a reputable firm with vast experience in the production and installation of quality POP ceilings, wall screeding, pillars, arches, window designs, balusters, precast works, interlocking, and capes. The training centre is located at Eneka by Igwuruta Road, opposite Day by Day Supermarket, Port Harcourt.

Upon completion of the programme, the beneficiaries are expected to become skilled professionals capable of establishing their own businesses, creating employment opportunities for others, and contributing meaningfully to the economic growth of the Arochukwu Kingdom. Their acquired expertise will not only provide them with sustainable means of livelihood but will also help reduce youth unemployment, dependency, and social vices within the society.

The economic benefits of this initiative to the Arochukwu Kingdom are immense. Skilled artisans in POP and interior finishing services are increasingly in demand within Nigeria’s growing construction and real estate sectors. By empowering these young men with marketable vocational skills, the Foundation is helping to raise a new generation of productive and self-reliant Aro youths who can contribute to local development, wealth creation, and community advancement.

The Aro-Okeigbo Great Minds Foundation through its consistent efforts in supporting indigent and helpless Arochukwu sons to acquire practical skills and meaningful livelihoods, the Foundation continues to demonstrate genuine commitment to humanitarian service and sustainable empowerment. Such noble interventions not only transform individual lives but also strengthen families, uplift communities, and preserve the dignity and future of the younger generation.

Every youth that applied for skilled acquisition must undergo a rigorous screening process, if successful will be enrolled.
