ABOUT US
The Aro-Okeigbo Great Minds Foundation is a humanitarian and community development organization established with a vision to promote education, youth empowerment, cultural preservation, social welfare, and sustainable community advancement within Arochukwu communities and beyond.
The foundation was birthed from a shared sense of responsibility, divine guidance, unity, and compassion among a group of progressive-minded individuals who were inspired to create a platform dedicated to impactful service to humanity. The founders strongly believe that the establishment of the foundation was divinely inspired and guided toward addressing pressing social and developmental needs within the Arochukwu community.
The idea that eventually led to the creation of the foundation emerged approximately four months after the burial ceremony of the mother of Mazi Ogbonnaya Okoro. During this period, a group of friends and associates came together in solidarity and mutual support. Their interactions gradually evolved into meaningful discussions centred on community development, youth mentorship, educational support, and humanitarian service.

The vision of the Foundation is to build a progressive, educated, compassionate, and self-sustaining society where individuals are empowered to contribute meaningfully to community development and human advancement.
WHAT WE DO - PROGRAMS
“Catch Them Young” Initiative
These programs are focused on inspiring academic excellence, discipline, and leadership among young pupils.
Free Examination Preparation Classes
These classes are conducted periodically throughout the year and are facilitated by qualified subject teachers and supervised by the standing committee
Humanitarian Visits and Welfare Outreach
These visits are aimed at providing emotional support, relief materials, and encouragement to the hospitalized, Nigerian citizens at the centre as well as vulnerable individuals.
Road Trip Charity Outreach
Through this initiative, the foundation provides financial assistance, food items, and other forms of humanitarian support to individuals in need.

SKILL ACQUISITION PROGRAMS
Justice Okechukwu Okafor is one of the beneficiaries of the Skill Acquisition Programme of the Aro-Okeigbo Great Minds Foundation. He is currently undergoing intensive training in Automobile Electrical Works at Victor E Automobile Workshop, located at No. 6 Ibeneme Street, Off Osusu Road, Aba, Abia State.
Aro-Okeigbo Great Minds Foundation has sponsored two young Umu Aro sons — Emmanuel Chigozie Obilor and Sunday Golden Nwanyanwu — in a three-year vocational skill acquisition programme in the production and installation of modern POP designs and finishing works.
